Sheila Karbassian

Sheila Karbassian, born in the U.S., moved to Iran at age 11 during the Iran-Iraq war—an unusual path post-Revolution. Her life journey as an immigrant, woman, and survivor deeply shapes her expressive visual art, blending modernity with tradition. She holds degrees in Communication Arts and Spiritual Psychology, and now lives and works in Santa Monica, California.
